Experimental Poetry #2: Defiance On The Spectrum

Pop it like a six pack

Flow like a Minaj rap

Don’t turn back, jump back

It’s your apsie boy again, pull out the welcome mat

Then pull it up while I’m walking

Cause that’s what it feels like

When people around me get to talking

Throw dirt on my name, enough, I know I’m not the same

But I shave against the grain

Don’t like how I bleed? Cut the cord

Drop the mic, but you can still see

That I’ll never be anything the streets said I should be

Weirdo and wild

I’m 18 trapped in the mind of a junkie child

Always looking for the next fix

Poetry, help me quick, take me on another trip
