You Broke Me

Everyone has so many locks

But you don’t know which key you’re holding

And until the door opens

You don’t know

How much they’ve bled

From the time I knew you

I thought I knew you

And now that I don’t know you

I see what’s really true

Wishing to be mine

Theft of precious time

Forgive my blindness, but I need a sign

I’m hungry and loyal

But to all the right lies

And the wrong truths

Flew past my ears

But not by you

We would never be one

Only two

And that broke my heart

I'm interested in hearing what you have to say
